Over the past several years, many lineage Rinpoches and Sangha have repeatedly requested that Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa bestow the lineage of Five Great Treasuries of the first Jamgon Kongtrul Thaye. Of these five great treasures, Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa has already bestowed three at Palpung Sherab Ling Monastic Seat over the past two years. This year, 2008, the remaining two treasuries will be transmitted as per the following Schedule:

September 8th to October 6th
"Treasury of All-Pervading Knowledge" Sheja Dzod (shes bya kun la khyab pa’i mdzod), which summarizes the entire sutric and tantric paths.

October 8-27
"Treasury of Vast Teachings" Gyachen Kadzod (rgya chen bka’ mdzod). Alternately referred to as The Extraordinary Treasury (thun mongs ma yin pa'i dzo), and The Collected Works of Chamgon Kongtrul (Kongtrul bka’ ‘bum), it includes various related works, such as praises and advice, as well as compositions on medicine, science and so on.

October 21-25
The Grand Kalachakra Empowerment, part of last Treasury will be given to the public for five days.

November 1-8
Grand Long Life Ceremony marking the end of these transmissions
