PALPUNG MUNISHASAN DHARMA CHAKRA SANGH is a Buddhist Sangha whose aim and object is to preserve and propagate the valuable teaching and practice of Lord Buddha and its lineage, culture, and tradition of art and crafts etc. At the same time it try to protect environment and health of human being in possible capacity.

In the past, this society assisted for various project and service to the communities in different part of India under the blessing of the most enlighten spiritual master The 12th Kenting Tai Situpa. Thousands of individuals are trained in Buddhist way of life and hundreds of boys and girls are ordained as monks and nuns and proper training are introduced and many of them became great human being and benefiting to various human societies.

Recently, there is a very strong request coming from Kinnaur (North of India) and it stated that many people in the area have very serious problem with their eyes and it is mainly because not enough facilities. So Palpung Munishasan Dharmachakra Sangh organized the Free Eye-Camp at Chango from 11th of July to 13th of July 2007 with team of the main eye surgery Dr. Rohit accompanied with full medical team from Rotary Eye Hospital Maranda (Palampur). During the three days more than five hundred and eighty patients were inspected, 43 eye operations were performed, and 175 prescriptions of glasses and medicines were made.

Palpung Munishasan Dharma Chakra Sangh will continue this kind of service in future also with the Blessing of The 12th Kenting Tai Situpa.
