On April 20th, 2012 in the courtyard of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat there was a ceremony to appoint a fourth group of three newly appointed Khenpos who have just graduated from Palpung Lungrig Jampal Ling Higher Buddhist studies. Before the ceremony Palpung Lungrig Jampal's leading Khenpo, the Venerable Tsultrim Namdak, the Khenpos and the students offered the grand mandala offering to Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa followed by a traditional Tibetan rice and tea ceremony.

The newly appointed Khenpos are, Khenpo Tsering Paldhen, Khenpo Karma Yugyal and Khenpo Pema Wangchen. They each received a traditional pandit hat and yellow robes along with a certificate. Following this, students with accumulated high marks in their yearly exams received gifts directly from Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. Newly appointed Khenpos and students of Palpung Lunrig Jampal Ling Higher Buddhist studies then displayed traditional debates on different subjects. The ceremony concluded with enlightening advice from Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa for all the Sangha of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat.
