His Holiness Gyalwang Karmapa Orgyen Trinley Dorje visited Delhi for several days before proceeding to Bodhagaya, in November 2012. As Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa was also in Delhi at that time and paid a visit to His Holiness where the two spent some time together at the Grand Hotel in Delhi.
