Following up from the close association, interest and support that Guru Vajradhara The 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa and Palpung Sherabling Monastic seat extended to Sri M for the unique Walk of Hope undertaken by him and his followers more, that 150 Palpung nuns and monks joined Sri M's walkathon at Pathankot at 7 am on 12th April 2016 and shared the journey with him and his entourage till 12 noon. On the way they stopped at temples, churches and schools to spread the Walk of Hope message to promote national integration and peace.

It may be recalled that at the commencement of the Walk of Hope on 7th January, 2015 Guru Vajradhara The 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa along with other eminent luminaries flagged off this unique effort at Kanyakumari by Sri M of walking from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, with his followers, to promote national integration and harmony. Guru Vajradhara also connected with the walk at various points like Nashik and Delhi as Sri M and his entourage traversed on foot across India.
