On the 8th of July 2016, Palpung Lungrig Jampal Ling Buddhist Higher Studies of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat held a grand event on the 4th day of the 5th month according to the Kalachakra calendar. It is the day when Buddha turned the first wheel of dharma which is the teaching commonly known as the Four Noble Truths.

On this very auspicious day, Guru Vajradhara The 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa gave four Khenpo Certificate,
1. Khenpo Jamyang Lodoe,
2, Khenpo Sonam,
3, Khenpo Phurpa Wangchuk,
4, Khenpo Chime Dorjee.

, and appointment of six new Khenpos,
1. Losel Gyatso
2. Jigme Norbu,
3. Gyurmey Lhundup.
4. Dargye.
5. Tenzin Lama.
6. Wangchen Samdup.

Guru Vajradhara The 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa also gave certificate to the 8 students who complete the studies at Palpung Sherabling Higher Monastic Education this year, among them six were appointed as new Lopon,

Karma Gyaltsen.

Karma Nyigyal was appointed new discipline master at Shedra with two new assistants.

Annual academic result of Palpung Medicine and Astrology department declared and Guru Vajradhara The 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa presented to award to toppers in each field of studies.

Lama Karam Topgyal was appointed as new principal of Palpung young Lama's school Riglam Kyedtsel, Lama Karma Gyalpo was appointed as the head of Palpung Environment, above all were done under the blessing of Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. All of the sangha of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat attended this major event at the main shrine hall of Palpung Lungrig Jampal Ling College of Higher Buddhist Studies and also received teachings and pith instructions from Guru Vajradhara.

On the evening of this same day, Guru Vajradhara continued his sacred retreat.
