From 27th to 29th February 2020, the “Active Peace – One World, One Humanity” program collaborated with the Living Peace Project to host a conference on “Water for Life” and “Active Peace” at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat. The conference was organized by Palpung Munishasan Dharma Chakra Sangh. During a Water Merging ceremony water fetched from the 3 holy rivers of India, an ancient water body in Greenland, the 4 sacred rivers in Tibet, the mighty Mississippi River in America and the River Rhine in Europe were joined together. His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa presided, together with honorable Ven. Karma Gelek Yuthok, Kalon of Department of Religion and Culture (CTA), spiritual leaders and water experts, for successful water merging and conference. His Holiness delivered a profound message regarding the meaning behind this act—that of unity in diversity. There was also knowledge sharing on pure water technology and the wisdom of water.
