On June 26, 2025, the auspicious day marking forty-one years since the embodiment of all buddhas of the three times and the compassionate guide of the world, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje, manifested his miraculous physical form in this world, at 8:00 in the morning, the entire monastic community of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat, led by Khenchen Thrinle Dorje of Dzigar Monastery and the monastic seat's tulkus, khenpos, teachers, and the entire monastic community gathered in Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat’s main temple.

They performed long-life prayers for His Holiness and presented offerings of a mandala and the three sacred representations to his sacred photograph that brings liberation upon seeing. Traditional tea and sweet rice were served to the entire assembly to create auspicious circumstances.

During this time, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa graciously joined the birthday celebration program via online connection, presiding over the ceremony with his guidance and teachings, and leading the smoke offering ceremony.

His Holiness's birthday celebration concluded in the contemporary manner with the singing of birthday wishes accompanied by the offering of cake.
