On the auspicious occasion marking the completion of 90 years since His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama, the sole refuge of all beings in the three realms, the root and limbs of the non-sectarian teachings, and the sole deity of the Land of Snow — the omniscient and all-seeing Great Compassionate One — manifested his holy physical form in the sacred medicinal land of Tibet, a special celebration was held.

On July 6, 2025, at 7:30 in the morning, in the great assembly hall of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat's Monastic College, the monastic seat's tulkus, khenpos, lamas, and entire monastic community, along with faithful devotees who had gathered from various places, performed the practice of accumulating Praises to Tara through the "Four Mandala Offerings to Tara" ritual.

At 9 o'clock, accompanied by the chanting of auspicious verses and prayers, a mandala and the three sacred representations were offered before His Holiness's sacred photograph that brings liberation upon seeing. The entire assembly then paid their respects, while tea and sweet rice were served to everyone present.

During the event, students from the monastic seat's primary school melodiously presented long-life prayers for His Holiness and birthday felicitation verses while offering cakes and sweets. His Holiness's 90th birthday celebration concluded with the planting of trees equal in number to His Holiness's age, in honor of his longevity and the flourishing of his enlightened activities.
