Under the guidance of Guru Vajradhara His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa, and as part of the longevity ceremonies for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama — the lamp that dispels the darkness of these degenerate times, the guide for beings of the six realms, and the supreme manifestation of Arya Avalokiteshvara in human form, and the leader of world peace — an accumulation of 10.8 million recitations of "The Twenty-One Praises to Tara" was successfully completed.
Beginning in 2023, the monastic community of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat and its affiliated nunnery Palpung Yeshi Rabgye Ling, along with local Tibetan and Himalayan devotees, and faithful disciples from various Palpung-affiliated centers around the world including Kinnaur, Mön region, and other locations, participated in accumulating the Praises to Tara recitations.
As the culmination of this practice, on July 4, 2025, at the assembly hall of Palpung Sherabling Monastic College, the Head Khenpo presided over a gathering that included the monastic seat's tulkus, lamas, khenpos, teachers, and entire monastic community, along with devoted followers from nearby Tibetan settlements in Bir, Chauntra, and Tashi Jong, as well as students from the Tibetan Children's Village schools in Suja and Chauntra.
Simultaneously, at Palpung Yeshi Rabgye Ling Nunnery, the nunnery's khenpos, teachers, and nuns' community, together with faithful devotees from Bajaura, Patlikulh, and other areas of Kullu district, gathered to participate in the recitation.
The three-day intensive Tara practice concluded on July 6, marking His Holiness the Dalai Lama's birthday. Combining with all previous accumulations and sponsored ceremonies, the completion of 10.8 million Tara recitations for His Holiness the Dalai Lama's longevity was thus auspiciously completed.
Furthermore, as the conclusion of the 90th birthday celebrations of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa conducted preliminary retreat practices of Vajrakilaya and Hayagriva at the beginning of this year. From May 1 to August 8, Guru Vajradhara has been engaged in a hundred-day retreat focused on the longevity practice of White Tara "Wish-Fulfilling Wheel" — the personal yidam deity of the successive incarnations of the Tai Situpas — dedicated to the aspiration that His Holiness the Dalai Lama's life may endure for a hundred kalpas.
