On January 27th 2008, Kenting Tai Situpa returned to Palpung Sherab Ling Monastic seat. On the afternoon of the 29th, just a half hour before the start of the Annual Mahakala Puja, a light snow began to fall over the Monastery. At the appointed hour Kenting Tai Situpa came to his throne and began the very auspicious annual Mahakala Pujas before Losar. This is the first time snow has fallen at Sherabling.
