Chakrasamvara is one of the main deities of the Karma Kagyu Lineage and yearly the grand ceremony is an important event. Conducted at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat, this year’s ceremonies ran from May 14th through May 20th, 2008. The ceremony included the construction of an elaborate Sand Mandala in the main Shrine hall at Palpung Sherabling Monastic seat. Lead by Rinpoches, Lamas and Monks, the practice was performed to bring limitless blessings for World Peace and to harmonize the natural environment. The ultimate aspiration is that all sentient beings achieve Buddhahood.
