On June 5th the monks of Palpung Sherabling went to the Gagal Airport in Dharamsala to greet H.H. the 17th Karmapa upon his return from his first visit to North America. The monks greeted His Holiness at the gate with an elaborate ceremony. The following day, on June 6th, the 12th Kenting Tai Situpa visited Gyuto Monastery and offered the traditional Manadala offering with body, speech and mind offerings for His Holiness' successful return from his first turning the wheel of Dharma abroad since he arrived in India in January of 2000.
