From June 23rd through August 3rd, 2008, Kenting Tai Situpa has spent time with His Holiness 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Orgyen Trinley Dorje at Gyuto Monastery in Himachal Pradesh. The visit has allowed Kenting Tai Situpa to confer many initiations upon His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa. These initiations have included three precious volumes of Mahamudra transmssion (Chagchen Gyashung) and represent a key aspect of the continuation of the Kagyu lineage.
