For seven days from November 1-7 the grand Long Life Puja was conducted at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat. The puja was lead by His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche and His Eminence Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche joined many Rinpoches and hundreds of Sangha. This Long Life ceremony was sincerely conducted so that Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa will have a long life filled with great success in all of his Buddha activities to benefit all sentient beings. On November 8th, TENSHUG long life offering was offered by the Organizing Committee of the Five treasuries empowerment series that has run over the past 3 years and which was followed by His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche, His Eminence Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche, all the Rinpoches and followers who received the five treasuries transmissions from Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. Throughout this eight day ceremony the main Vajra master was His Eminence Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche. At the end of offering, Mr. Sherab Paldhen Bheru, a 97 year old man from Samyeling Monastery in Scotland, made his offering to Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa with his utmost faithful prayers. This is because in our tradition it is believed that the oldest person who has great faith to the Guru making such an offering at the conclusion of a ceremony is always considered a most auspicious sign for the Gurus long life and for the flourishing of his Buddha activities.
