The Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, in Leh-Ladakh had requested that Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa give a teaching on "The Eternal Values of Devotion and Compassion", at the National Museum Auditorium, Janpath, New Delhi. According to this request, the visit and teaching by Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa occurred on February 10, 2009, according to the schedule previously arranged by the Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, Leh, Ladakh.

Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa arrived at the Nationam Museum at 10:30 A.M. where he was received by the Director of the National Museum, Dr. Nawang Tsering who is the Principal of the Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, the main organizer of the Art Exhibit on historical artifacts of the Alchi Monastery, Ladakh and other officials.

While there, Kenting Tai Situpa paid a visit to the holy Relic of Lord Buddha and made prayers for World Peace. This relic is one of the main objects in this national Museum.

Kenting Tai Situpa visit continued with a tour and explanations of the on-going art exhibitions of Alchi Monastery, given by Dr. Nawang Tsering and Director of the National Museum and other Venerable scholars.

At 11:10 A.M. Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa arrived at the auditorium where he was welcomed with an address given by the Director General of the National Museum. This was followed by Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa's delivery of the official release of the Exhibition Catalogue of the sacred art of the Alchi Monastery. The director of the National Meseum also offered souvenirs to the Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa on behlf of National Meseum. Following this, Kenting Tai Situpa gave a teaching on the eternal values of devotion and compassion. The teaching included many details which are as clearly relevant in today's world as they were in the past.

Finally the director of the National Museum gave a word of thanks and this was followed by dedication prayers led by Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa who was joined by monks, nuns and the audience.
