From Febuary 16 -21 the annual grand Mahakala puja was held at Palpung Sherabling Monastic seat. On February 22nd and 23rd, the grand Mahakala Lama dances were performed before Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa with his tutor, the Very Venerable Gegen Lama Lodoe who watched from the courtyard of the second floor of main monastery.

The grand Lama dances and ceremony which are performed for many days at the end of every year subdue negative forces for all time. They also evoke positive intentions and actions according to the Dharma for the benefit of all living beings and for the environment. The blessings of the Dharma protectors, Mahakala, Mahakali and their retinue make this possible.
