The Tibetan Children's Village School, in Chountara, Himachal Pradesh, requested that Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa give a teaching and Empowerment for two days from May 2nd and 3rd, 2009. On the first day Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa taught on the ground, the path and fruition according the Buddhist practice. Kenting Tai Situpa‘s teaching was simple, clear and profound and as a result those students keen to know about Buddhism found it accessible and understandable.

On the second day, Kenting Tai Situpa kindly performed the Empowerment of　 Hayagriva, Vajrapani and Garuda which included a detailed teaching on the various levels of meaning in empowerment. Thousands of students and Tibetan people received the blessing of the empowerment as well as profound advice.

Kenting Tai Situpa also visited TCV Science department where students demonstrated their understanding of science. Kenting Tai Situpa then blessed the prayer hall and visited the school clinic and blessed the cancer patients. During these two days there was discussion on Buddhist teachings betweens students of TCV students and the Palpung SherabLing Khenpos and teachers. In all, the visit was a greatly appreciated.
