The yearly examination results for young monks at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat School were announced on June 27, 2009 in the main shrine of the Monastery. Monks who stood first, second and third position in various classes received a gift from the hand of Very Venerable Bo Gangkar Rinpoche.

Some encouragement and advice was given to the students for their dedicated hard work at school and for their good behavior after which Lama Tenam spoke words of appreciation for the Teachers at the school.

A concluding speech was given by the Very Venerable Bo Gangkar Rinpoche in which he explored the importance of education in depth, ending this occasion on a happy and joyful note for all the school monks.
