On August 13th Jamgon Kenting Tai Situpa began the transmission for the entire Shangpa Kagyu Lineage including reading transmissions, detailed explanations and Empowerments. This transmission, held at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Institute, is being given at the request of His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche. There are ten Rinpoches and hundreds of students from various countries participating in this historic lineage transmission, while the main recipient of the Shangpa Kagyu Lineage is His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche who is the main holder of this lineage in modern times.
