At 11:00 am on the morning of August 11th 2009 Palpung Sherabling Monastic Institute students specializing Tibetan Medicine or Astrology or those who's main focus is on Poetry, Tibetan Grammar and various types of Tibetan Calligraphy, received their exam results. Those who received the highest marks - standing first, second and third in various subjects - received a gift from the hand of Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. Additionally, Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa provided clear and detailed advice to students as well as to all the Sangha of Palpung Sherabling.
