Close to sixty children received the hair cutting, Buddhist names and permission to wear monks robes from Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa recently. These young monks will now be cared for by Palpung Lungrig Jampal Ling Buddhist Institute which is part of Palpung Sherabling. In addition they will receive a basic education - which is inaccessible for many children in India - which will eventually allow them to attend the Buddhist Institute for Higher studies at Palpung Lungrig Jampal Ling Buddhist Institute.
