The yearly seven day grand Palpung Monlam Chenmo began as always on 9th day of the First lunar month. It ends on the full moon with a limitless dedication for peace and happiness, both relative and ultimate for every sentient being, for harmony in all environments of all universes. Every year one hundred thousand butter lamps are lit and dedicated to all sentient beings; that each and every one may realize wisdom. This first month of lunar calendar is also considered very powerful. All positive or negative motivations and actions will multiply by a factor of millions, so it is advisable every one keep up good motivation and action to accumulate merit while avoiding negative actions.
