On May 24th 2010 Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa paid a visit to Sidhbhari, Gyuto Monastery to meet His Holiness Gyalwang Karmapa Orgyen Trinley Dorje and spend some time together, returning that same day to Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat. Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa began his long retreat on May 25th, 2010 and will continue into early 2011 until the annual grand Mahakala puja starts. This is nearly ten months of retreat time. However, within this period on three separate occasions, Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa will interrupt his retreat to honor previously arranged commitments. The first among these is the graduation ceremony for new Khenpos from Palpung Lungrig Jampal Ling which falls on June 4th of the lunar calendar. There will also be three days of Mahamudra aspiration prayers teaching transmissions from September 21-23 as requested by the Venerable Khenpo Lodhen and his students and then finally the ten-day Guru Rinpoche Drubchen and Lama dance in November 2010. Outside these three occasions Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa will remain in strict retreat.
