A group of Rinpoches, Khenpos, monks and nuns who are dedicated to completing a traditional three year retreat at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat have closed the doors and begun the retreat on November 30, 2010. The retreat center for monks and the other retreat center for nuns are important wings of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat. In the past, many Rinpoches, Khenpos, have completed retreats here. In addition many monks and nuns have also completed retreats and become lamas.

Currently many men and women who have completed previous retreats at Sherabling contribute valuable services to the Buddha dharma and humanity under the blessing of Vajradhara Chamgon Dorje Chang Kenting Tai Situpa.
