People who become monks and nuns often see their ordination as the most important event in their lives. Additionally most regard it as even more fortunate if they receive these vows from one of the precious lineage masters of the golden rosary. To this end many sangha from His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche's monasteries in Nepal and Lawa , many sangha from the Very Venerable Mingyur Rinpoche's monasteries in Bodhgaya and Nepal as well as various people from around the world, came to Palpung Sherabling Monastic seat to receive ordination recently.

In total, 110 young monks received novice ordination and 5 nuns also received novice ordinations. 95 monks received full ordination making a total 210 fortunate individuals who received ordination from the Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa on December 30, 2010.
