There are a number of Grand Drupchens performed yearly at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat according the lineage and tradition which was established during the time of the Eighth and Ninth Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpas. On the 1st of October 2011 the grand Drupchen of Guhyasamaja began in the main temple of Palpung Sherabling monastic seat. All the Rinpoches, Khenpos, Lamas and monks are participating in this Drupchen which will conclude on October 10th 2011. As part of the Drupchen Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa will bestow the empowerment of Guhyasamaja on the 11th October 2011 for all devotees.
