The annual grand Mahakala puja began February 13th, 2012 at Palpung Sherabling Monastic seat, lead by Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. Traditionally this annual puja, along with the grand Mahakala dances, goes for two days and is dedicated to all living beings, for the purification of negative deeds from the previous year and to invite positive actions for the new year guided by fresh and pure motivation. At the same time this ceremony is dedicated to preserving the environment and life on this planet.
