Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa's 59th Birthday was celebrated on the 8th day of the first lunar month during the Losar period in 2012. Students from around the world came to Palung Sherabling to join the three day celebration lead by Miss Akim from the Kagyu School in Taipei. The celebrations spanned three days and included the of the grand Mahakala Puja as well as mandala offerings dedicated to the long life of the Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. At the same time Palpung Centers lead by the Very Venerable Thutop Rinpoche in Taiwan, also celebrated and received a teaching on Bodhichitta via video conference. The teaching was viewed by hundreds of devotees and representatives from various world-wide Karma Kagyu centers. Additionally Palpung centers in various countries celebrated and made long life wishes for our beloved Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa, that his Buddha activities will continue to flourish and benefit all sentient beings until they attain Buddhahood.
