As per tradition, at the end of every lunar year, there is a grand Mahakala Puja and Mahakala dance conducted. This year it started on 2 February 2013 and continued until 9 February 2013. The Mahakala lama dance was performed on the 8th to the 9th for two days according to the tradition of Palpung Monastic Seat.
