At the request of the Tibetan community in Bir on 1 June 2013, Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa bestowed the empowerment and Jangchog of Buddha Akshobya at the Tibetan school accompanied by a teaching about Buddha Akshobya's manifestation, and also encouraged people to practice more compassion and loving kindness following receipt of the empowerment of Buddha Akshobya. Guru Vajradhara also advised for people to build healthy habitual patterns to have more care, concern and an attitude of friendship towards the local community.

On the same day, Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa consecrated newly built Stupas and rooms for monks of Chogling Monastery at the request of Venerable Khyentse Yeshe Rinpoche.
