The principal celebrations on the occasion of the 63rd birthday of Supreme Guru Vajradhara The 12thChamgon Kenting Tai Situpa were held at Palpung Sherab Ling Monastic Seat and Palpung Yeshe Rabgyel Ling Nunnery on 15th February 2016 .

On this occasion new robes were also adorned on the sacred image of Buddha Shakyamuni at Bodhgaya Mahabodhi Stupa along with offering fruit and medicinal herbs at the stupa shrine. These offerings were accompanied with prayers conducted by Tulkus, Khenpo's, Lamas, Monks and Nuns of Palpung Sherabling Monastic seat who were present in Bodhgaya, participating in the Kagyu Monlam. They dedicated their prayers for the long life and the flourishing of the Holy Dharma activities of the Supreme Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa
