On 25th, February 2016, The Global Gelugpa School of Tibetan Buddhism had organized a 4-day conference at Gyuto Tantric Monastery. This was an intellectual gathering, which was also to commemorate the 80th birthday celebrations of His Holiness The Dalai Lama.

This august gathering discussed and dealt with subjects close to the heart of His Holiness Dalai Lama, pertaining to his entire teachings and his on-going global activities from the past.

The organizer of this conference had invited Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa as the Chief Guest on day one of this conference and Guru Vajradhara participated as per their kind request to and delivered a speech on the profound life of His Holiness The Dalai Lama.

Guru Vajradhara was also encouraged by the organizers to participate in this noble event for the benefit of the whole of Buddhism and with the aspiration for benefiting all sentient beings.
