Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa issued a directive for Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat and all its branches to promptly accumulate ten million recitations of the Twenty-One Praises to Tara for His Holiness the great omniscient Dalai Lama, who is the sole refuge of all sentient beings, the spiritual head of all Buddhists on this Earth, the leader of world peace, and the embodiment of Avalokiteshvara−the principal deity of the Land of Snow Mountains. These practices are dedicated for His Holiness's longevity, the fulfillment of all his intentions, and especially for the removal of obstacles to His Holiness’s activities created by ill-intentioned schemes.

In accordance with this directive, the monastic seat's administration sponsored the recitation of Praises to Tara at numerous monasteries of all Tibetan Buddhist traditions in India and Nepal. Tara Praises accumulation gatherings of monastics and lay people have also been organized at Mön Palpung Chöling in Arunachal, Tergar Monastery in Bodhgaya, Palpung Yeshi Rabgyeling Nunnery and several Dharma centers in Kullu, and Palpung Thubten Özer Rabgye Ling in Chango, Kinnaur. Moreover, on May 6, 2023, a one-day Tara Praises recitation was held at the monastic seat, attended by more than 1500 monastics and lay people, including its entire monastic community, local Tibetans from the settlements of Bir, Chauntra, and Tashi Jong, as well as teachers, staff, and students from Suja and Chauntra TCV schools. Presently, all associated monasteries and organizations continue accumulating the Tara Praises.
