From August 17 to September 15, 2023, the second cohort of bachelor's degree students in medicine and astrology participated in the graduation examination at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat's Dönnyi Norbui Gatsal University of Buddhist Sciences. The second graduation examination encompassed both theoretical and practical knowledge in general subjects related to the Buddhist sciences of medicine and astrology. It also included specific subjects that covered the entire range of topics taught in the Four Medical Tantras, as well as the principal and auxiliary treatises on the "white," "black," and "original" systems of Tibetan astrology, along with the ritual practices of Yuthok Guru Sadhana. The examination was conducted under the guidance and supervision of representative from Central Council of Tibetan Medicine, representatives from several monastic seat's education departments, and the university's own faculty and staff.
