At the request of the lay communities of Bajaura in the Kullu district of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, Khenpo Tsultrim Zangpo of Palpung Yeshi Rabgyeling Nunnery presented an introduction to Buddhism and meditation instructions at Palpung Gesar Damo Temple on September 21 and 22, 2023. Khenpo Tsultrim Zangpo fulfilled the hopes of devotees who gathered there by sharing the Dharma. He particularly emphasized the concepts of refuge and bodhicitta, which represent the gateway to the Buddhist path. He also bestowed instructions, provided a reading transmission, and explained the benefits of the six-syllable mantra “OM MANI PEME HUNG,” which constitutes the essence of all of Buddha's teachings.
