From November 12 to 16, 2023, His Eminence YongeyMingyur Rinpoche concluded the fifth and final year of the transmission of "The Words of My Perfect Teacher." Dharma students traveled from all corners of the world to Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat to attend this transmission, which was requested and organized by the Palpung Institute of Buddhist Studies.

This year, Mingyur Rinpoche bestowed the fifth and final part of the five-year transmission of this sacred commentary on the preliminary practices of the Dzogpa Chenpo Longchen Nyingthig, composed by the great master Dza Patrul Orgyen Jigme Chökyi Wangpo.

Through essential instructions in his unique teaching style, Rinpoche explained how to practice the kusali's offering of one's body. He also provided teachings on the essential points of the meaning, functions, and practical application of the sacred teaching cycle of Chöd, also known as the Pacification of Suffering. Rinpoche continued with an explanation of the various visualizations in the Guru Yoga practice, the entrance-way for blessings. Along with the instructions on the Phowa (the transference of consciousness), Rinpoche explained the dissolution process at the moment of death and the sequence of manifestations of the bardo.

In addition to presenting these profound practical instructions, Rinpoche clarified the crucial points of each section of the text with pith instructions, allocated time for discussions among the students on difficult subjects, and answered the students' questions related to the teaching topics.
