In response to repeated requests from Teresa and many other disciples, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa bestowed a transmission of the sacred dohas of the exalted Lord of Yogis, Milarepa, supreme among all siddhas of the Land of Snow Mountains. This transmission spanned six days, from November 21 to 26, 2023, at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat. The event, attended by students from around the world, was organized by the Palpung Institute of Buddhist Studies.

The dohas taught during this transmission were excerpted from Milarepa's life story, entitled "The Hundred Thousand Songs of Milarepa." These sacred songs delve into the profound view and tunes of meditative experiences, naturally arising from Milarepa's expanse of realization and manifesting in melodies expressing the vajrayana approach. Unraveling the knots of words woven in these spontaneous vajra songs and revealing the secrets of their meaning, Guru Vajradhara emphasized the importance of following in the footsteps of past Kagyu masters and putting their teachings into practice.

With practical and deeply inspiring pith instructions, he elucidated Lord Milarepa's confidence in the view, crucial points of his meditation, his wondrous deeds, and the special qualities of his meditative experiences and realizations. This profound transmission auspiciously concluded with the Milarepa empowerment based on his guru yoga and its supporting reading transmission of the sadhana.
