From April 11 to 15, 2024, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa conducted the second year of the transmission of "The Ornament of Realization: A Commentary on the Prajnaparamita," one of the five treatises of the tenth bhumi bodhisattva Lord Maitreya, which elucidates the stages of realizing the hidden meaning of the Buddha's second turning of the Dharma wheel. This profound transmission, attended by students from across the globe, had been requested several years prior by several students from Taiwan, and numerous other disciples, and was organized by the Palpung Institute of Buddhist Studies at the Leela Ambience Convention Hotel in Delhi, India.
Guru Vajradhara continued his explanation of "The Ornament of Realization" by introducing the extensive, middle-length, and concise Prajnaparamita sutras, along with their classification into seventeen mother and daughter treatises. Subsequently, he provided a summary of the pith instructions on the root text's eight topics and seventy subtopics. Guru Vajradhara then illustrated how to integrate essential instructions on bodhichitta, representing the foundation of the Mahayana teachings, as well as the various stages of realization of the paths and bhumis, into daily meditation practice through special guided meditations.
