On the morning of August 4, 2024, in response to the request of the directors and disciples of Palpung Jangchub Chöling in Patlikulh, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa visited this Dharma center. Upon his arrival, Guru Vajradhara was welcomed by a golden procession of Palpung Jangchub Chöling's leaders, representatives of various associations, and local devotees. He was then invited into the temple, where he lit a butter lamp and consecrated the sacred representations.
After this, Guru Vajradhara ascended the throne and was offered a mandala along with the sacred symbols of the Buddha's body, speech, and mind, followed by the traditional offering of Tibetan tea and sweet rice.
To a large audience of devotees gathered for the occasion, Guru Vajradhara bestowed the reading transmissions of the mantras of Avalokiteshvara and Guru Rinpoche, along with explanations of their benefits and the proper manner of their practice. This was followed by a teaching on the importance of always cultivating loving-kindness, compassion, altruism, and a good heart. Guru Vajradhara also emphasized the importance of trust in karma and its results, as well as devotion to the Three Jewels: the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.
The auspicious event concluded with offerings of songs and dances, expressing heartfelt gratitude for Guru Vajradhara's gracious visit.
