In response to the request of the directors and disciples of Palpung Gesar Damo Temple in Bhuntar, on the afternoon of August 4, 2024, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa visited the Dharma center. He was welcomed by a golden procession of its leaders, representatives of various associations, and local devotees. After lighting a butter lamp and consecrating the temple's sacred representations, Guru Vajradhara was offered a mandala along with the three sacred symbols, as well as the traditional offering of tea and sweet rice.
To a large gathering of devotees, Guru Vajradhara then bestowed the reading transmissions of the "mani" and "vajra guru" mantras, along with a teaching that emphasized the need to cherish all sentient beings, including ourselves, based on the attitude of recognizing our equalness. He also stressed the importance of harmony between family members, relatives, neighbors, and fellow villagers, along with the need to always cultivate respect for elders and care for the younger ones.
The event concluded on a joyful note with offerings of songs and dances, expressing everyone's deep gratitude for Guru Vajradhara's kind visit.
