As a conclusion to this year's classes at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat's University of Buddhist Sciences, a commemoration of the omniscient mahapandita Situ Panchen Chökyi Jungne's life and activities was held on December 31, 2024, at the monastic seat's Golden Stupa Temple. In the presence of directors from several other departments and the university's teachers, students in Sanskrit, medicine, and astrology recited eulogies and presented Dharma teachings in Hindi and Tibetan languages. Additionally, they provided discourses on the intricate points of Tibetan sciences, including medicine, astrology, poetics, synonymics, and grammar. Comparative discussions and question-and-answer sessions were also conducted. The event concluded with a speech by the university's principal.
