In response to requests from devout followers seeking liberation, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa bestowed novice and full ordination on April 26, 2025 at his residence in New Delhi, India. Guru Vajradhara, himself a distinguished upholder of monastic discipline, conducted the ceremony according to the Vinaya doctrine. Acting as both the preceptor and ceremonial master, Guru Vajradhara conferred novice (Getsul) ordination upon 29 male and female aspirants. He was assisted by the required assembly of monks serving as interviewer, assistant preceptor, and other necessary roles. Following this, Guru Vajradhara, together with the mandatory number of assisting monks, bestowed full (Gelong) ordination upon 21 monastics through the four-fold ritual of one request and three proclamations, thus establishing them as supreme vessels for traversing the path to liberation.
