On April 1, 2025, following the directive of Guru Vajradhara His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa, ten thousand butter lamps were offered, and the tulkus, lamas, khenpos, teachers, and the entire monastic community at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat in India conducted a special prayer ceremony. The prayers were dedicated to those who lost their lives in the recent earthquakes in Myanmar and Thailand, wishing for their rebirth in higher realms. Additionally, prayers were offered for the swift recovery of those who were injured, and for the restoration of shelter, physical and mental well-being, and livelihood for all those whose homes were destroyed in the disaster.
