Over the past several years, the students of traditional medicine at the Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat's University of Buddhist Sciences have received extensive training and practical instruction in acupuncture therapy from specialized acupuncturists. Having now reached the stage where they can independently perform these treatments, the Acupuncture Therapy Center within the Tibetan Medicine Clinic was formally inaugurated on November 3, 2025.

The opening ceremony was presided over by the monastic seat's Retreat Master and attended by teachers and staff from various departments of the monastic seat. The event began with the chanting of auspicious verses and blessings, followed by concise speeches from the principal speakers, who highlighted the significance of the occasion.
