Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa has been bestowing the transmission "Mahamudra: Pointing Out the Dharmakaya" at Tergar Osel Ling in Nepal to an assembly of tulkus, khenpos, monks, nuns, and tantric practitioners, as well as devoted disciples gathered from Nepal and various regions of the world.
In the course of these teachings, Guru Vajradhara has provided complete instructions integrating both teaching and practice for all twelve preliminary practices of Mahamudra: the four common preliminaries—the four thoughts that turn the mind away from samsara; the four uncommon preliminaries of refuge and bodhichitta, the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva, mandala offering, and guru yoga; and the four special preliminaries, known as the four conditions for practice.
In addition, within the four daily sessions, His Eminence Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche has been leading the afternoon review and meditation sessions, while His Eminence Chungpo Gyalton Rinpoche has been leading the morning sessions, during which the entire gathering has practiced the relevant meditations together.
