Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa has been bestowing the transmission of "Mahamudra: Pointing Out the Dharmakaya" at Tergar Osel Ling in Nepal to the assembly of tulkus, khenpos, monks, nuns, and tantric practitioners, as well as fortunate disciples from around the world endowed with merit and karmic connection.
In the course of the transmission Guru Vajradhara has completed the experiential instructions on the shamatha and vipashyana sections of the main practice of Mahamudra. He has provided complete instructions combining teaching and practice for all sessions of shamatha and vipashyana, integrating the pith instructions of the lineage with his own experience. These have encompassed the general essential points of body and mind conducive to the arising of meditative experiences and realizations; in particular, the topics of shamatha with a support, relying on pure and impure outer and inner objects; shamatha practices such as holding the mind by applying essential points of the pranas, and vipashyana practices of looking at stillness, movement, and awareness. The transmission was further enriched by numerous sacred pith instructions akin to molten gold.
