On the morning of June 9, 2026, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa came to pay homage to the great stupa of Boudhanath — a field of merit for beings, a support of devotion, an object of prostration, and a place of offering, filled with relics of buddhas and other sacred representations of body, speech, and mind. There, he was received by the heads, monks, and nuns of various Karma Kagyu monasteries in Nepal, as well as by many thousands of faithful monastics and laypeople, both resident and visiting.
Along the tiered terraces of the throne, the circumambulation path, and all the surfaces of the precious stupa, a magnificent array of one hundred thousand offerings was arranged, including butter lamps, flowers, incense, medicinal substances, fruits, and foods and drinks of every kind.
Guru Vajradhara presided over the gathering of tulkus, khenpos, lamas, monks, and nuns of all traditions, headed by Kyabje Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche, together with faithful devotees who had come from near and far. Together, they accumulated recitations of "The King of Aspirations: The Noble Aspiration for Excellent Conduct," with wholehearted dedication for the welfare of the teachings and all beings.
In the evening, the assembled monastics and laypeople brought the grand One Hundred Thousandfold Offering Prayer Gathering to an auspicious conclusion by chanting "The Lamp Prayer" and dedicating the prayer gathering to the pacification of adversities and calamities affecting the environment and its inhabitants.
