Over the course of approximately one month, Khenchen Orgyen Tenzin of Thegchog Namdrol Ling, the second monastic seat of the glorious Palyul Monastery in East Tibet, a renowned spiritual master in whom the vast scriptures of sutra and tantra have arisen as inner realization, bestowed extensive transmissions at Lunrig Jampal Ling Monastic College of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat upon the khenpos, acharyas, and graduates of the monastic college, as well as the tulkus, lamas, and teachers of the Tantric College, the University of Buddhist Sciences, and other departments.

The transmissions consisted of the reading transmission of “The Guhyagarbha Tantra,” also known as “The Secret Essence Tantra: The Glorious Root Tantra of the Magical Net,” the king of all tantras, the source Atiyoga, the Great Perfection, the pinnacle of all yanas, together with an explanatory teaching on its commentary, “The Essence of Luminosity,” composed by Mipham Rinpoche. In addition, reading transmissions were bestowed for Guru Padmasambhava's pith instructions “The Garland of Views,” its commentary by Rongzom Pandita, and “Realizing Appearances as the Deity.”

At the conclusion of the teachings, in response to the request of the monastic community, on June 9, 2026, Khenpo bestowed upon the entire monastic assembly the reading transmission of “The Summary of the Key Points of the Preliminaries” by the great bodhisattva of these degenerate times, Dza Patrul Orgyen Jigme Chökyi Wangpo, together with an explanatory teaching on “The Threefold Excellence” by the omniscient Longchen Rabjam, along with guidance on what to adopt and what to avoid.

To express their gratitude, the administration and monastic community of the monastic seat offered a mandala together with representations of enlightened body, speech, and mind. Khenpo then bestowed blessings upon all those in attendance, thereby bringing these virtuous Dharma activities to an auspicious conclusion.
