On the afternoon of June 12, 2026, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa arrived at Thrangu Tashi Yangtse, the seat of Kyabje Yongzin Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, the sun that illuminates the teachings of the Practice Lineage, established at the sacred site of Takmo Lüjin (Namo Buddha). The monastery's leadership, tulkus, khenpos, and monastic assembly, together with the devoted monastic and lay public who had gathered from near and far, welcomed him with an elaborate golden procession and escorted him to the audience hall in the masters’ residence. Ceremonial tea and sweet rice were offered, after which the monastery's leadership paid their respects, and Guru Vajradhara then retired to his quarters to rest.

On the morning of June 13, through the “Moonlight Nectar Ablution Ritual,” Guru Vajradhara performed a consecration and bestowal of blessings upon the outer structures and inner sacred supports of the golden reliquary stupa temple of the late Kyabje Yongzin Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche. Following this, long life offerings were presented before Guru Vajradhara in the traditional manner. In the afternoon, Guru Vajradhara addressed a vast assembly of tulkus, khenpos, monastics, students, and devoted monastic and lay followers gathered from within Nepal and abroad, the interior and exterior spaces on every floor of the main temple, bestowing precious teachings and guidance for the benefit of the teachings and all beings. He also conferred the reading transmission of the prayer for the swift rebirth of Thrangu Rinpoche's reincarnation, after which he bestowed blessings upon the entire assembled gathering.

On the morning of June 14, Guru Vajradhara granted a special audience to the monastery's leadership, and performed a consecration ritual for a newly erected Mani prayer wheel. Finally, before departing from Thrangu Tashi Yangtse, a group photograph was taken of Guru Vajradhara together with the assembled gathering, thus bringing his visit to an auspicious conclusion.
